Well you say you hate the summer
Because the birds wake up too soon
And disturb you from your slumber
With their morning chorus tunes

And you complain about the weather
Whatever it decides
You’re in pain and you could never
Do a day’s work in your life

I can guess when you’ll be raving about
Because it’s every time you open your mouth
When it comes to constant disapproval
I could never be in with a shout

So here’s my crown
I’m just not worthy

They don’t deserve me
Well I’ve been known to vent my spleen
But you’re the fullest on that I’ve ever seen

You get angry on occasions
